Gradient Tinted Lips
If you're looking for something new to try because gradient lips are fun if you're willing to put in a bit more effort. Gradient lips aren't really a "new" thing, but there's a varied effect that's popular in Asia (more like Korea). This effect involves lip concealer most of the time.
For a fast option, you can purchase a VDL tint bar triple shot; which range from $16-25 AUD on eBay [Triple Shot Product Details]. Or you can work the concealer method. There are honestly just many products you can use, since I don't have lip concealer now, BB cream or normal concealer should be fine.
Products used
SKIN79 BB Cream $39 RRP
(You can purchase at Blush Cosmetics around Sydney)
TOPSHOP Lipstick in 'Innocent' $12-14
Shiseido's MACQUILLAGE Perfect Gloss $32 RRP
(I think this is sold out online but I purchased it at Narita Airport)
TONYMOLY Water Jelly Tint 'Pomegranate' RRP $18
(Purchased at official TONYMOLY shop in Market City, Sydney)
Quick Instructions
2. Apply lipstick/tint on the inner lip
3. (optional) Gently pat light gloss on the whole lip to seal in the colour
*It's kind of difficult to keep the colour on the lip as it is. Since doing this post, I found better products, use dabs of a strong concealer (i.e. Revlon Photoready) and a really long lasting tint, I use "Tony Moly's Tony Delight" tint in 03. They usually cost about $3-6 but it was a gift from Beautynetkorea.com.
Below are links and pictures of some lip tints that I recommend.
The Tony Moly Delight Magic Tint but is for a subtle gradient lip since it's not so pigmented - it smells and tastes really nice. Etude House's Rosy Tint lips are really pigmented and are made for gradient lips. They don't really smell/taste nice but have really nice colours.
