Better skin inside an egg?

1. Tightening Pack

Claims: "Effective pore purifying...clears out blackheads and impurities with egg and camelia".

Directions: "Spread onto loose pores. After 10-15 mins when... completely dry, wash off with lukewarm water".

Ingredients:

After a few minutes:

Thoughts: The products smells okay - it has a clay-like smell with a bit of fragrance. I can appreciate the fact that the product dries so you know when to wash it off. I can also notice that my face looks less oily and the pores have tightened. However the product is only 30ml and quite expensive as a pore tightener. With the whole range, the packaging is cute but inconvenient for storage.

Overall:
Pros:  The scent is okay, clay-like with a hint of fragrance
The product dries as indication to wash off the cream
            ✽ Cute packaging
✽ When the product is on my face, I can feel the skin/pores tighten and it feels smooth afterwards

Cons:
✽ The product is only 30ml (yet the lid is huge)
✽ Packaging is inconvenient for storage

*For a pore tightener, I recommend Michael Todd's 'Kaolin clay mask'. My brother used to buy it and I think it works better.

Personal rating: 3/5

2. Silky Smooth Balm

Claims: "Magic primer balm with egg ingredient that makes the firm and elastic skin as the egg whites".

Directions: "Apply small amount and gently spread onto areas of loose pores".

Ingredients:

Fills in unevenness of skin:

But it doesn't help too much with the appearance of my skin since my pores aren't that loose/deep:

Thoughts: The products smells really good with the lemon extract  (with a tiny hint of a fresh mint-like smell).  This is probably not an all-over-the-face primer but is good for people who have deep pores and want to minimise the appearance of them. It also gives a smooth matte finish to your skin. Although it takes a while to get some product from the balm, the balm itself feels as smooth as Blistex's 'cold and allergy' lip soother.

Overall:
Pros:  The scent is refreshing with a lemon scent (and a hint of a mint-like smell)
Good for people who want to minimise the appearance of deep pores
✽ Gives a smooth + matte finish to skin
✽ The product itself feels really smooth

Cons:
✽ Like any other primer, I think this product only helps temporarily - like makeup
✽ To get some product off, you have to keep swiping the balm

Personal rating: 4/5

3. Blackhead Out Oil Gel

Claims: "Effective pore purifying gel that clears out blackheads and impurities with egg and camelia ingredient".

Directions: "Apply an appropriate amount onto areas with blackhead and gently massage for 3-5 minutes. Wash off... (This clear oil gel turns white because it combines with sebum while massaging)".

Ingredients:

In this product, the yellow exfoliators don't burst so you only need a little:

Thoughts: This product feels like smooth yolk. It also has a stronger (than the egg pore smooth balm) refreshing lemon smell to it. After rubbing the product in for a long time, the exfoliating particles still don't burst so you don't need to use much gel.

It says that the gel turns white as a sign of absorbing sebum but I didn't really see it turn white on my nose - that's why I think this kind of gel would be much more effective if you had a lot of pores. The only thing I really don't like is the fact that the gel is so liquid-y, yet it's in a screw-lid container; so you easily get messy. Other than that, the end result after one use feels okay, but there's no instant difference...hopefully it works overtime.

Overall:
Pros:  The scent is wonderful :)
You can massage with small amounts of gel because the exfoliators don't burst
✽ The product supposedly turns white after absorbing sebum

Cons:
✽ The gel is liquid-y but is in a screw container - so it gets messy
There's no visible difference after one application BUT hopefully it works gradually

Personal rating: 2.5/5

This is the older product packaging but still good :)

Still here on holidays. Interestingly, yesterday my brother turned 18 yesterday so we took him to the casino at night. It was my first time and I sort of felt intimidated by how big Star City in Sydney is. Lucky enough, we walked away with and extra 3 digits in our wallet.

Thanks for the read. Hope no one gets annoyed once I get Google Adsense up and running. I've always wanted to try it but am having trouble with the HTML codes :P
